Service Pathways
Three Pathways, One Standard of Care
Movement overhaul, bracelet restoration, or heritage chronograph service — each approached with the same degree of documentation, inspection, and method.

A Consistent Approach Across All Services
Regardless of which service pathway applies to your watch, the process begins the same way: documentation, assessment, and a conversation before any work proceeds. This is not a formality — it is the basis on which the whole service rests.
The specific steps that follow depend on the service type and the condition observed at intake. All work is carried out in our KLCC workshop by the technician best suited to the calibre and complication involved.
Step 1
Written intake assessment and photographic documentation
Step 2
Scope, timeline, and indicative cost discussed and agreed
Step 3
Service carried out — any scope changes communicated before they proceed
Step 4
Timing observation, quality check, and collection or delivery
Service Pathway 01
Service-Level Movement Overhaul
A structured maintenance pathway following manufacturer-aligned service intervals for mechanical, automatic, and chronograph calibres. The watch is first documented through photographs and a written intake assessment. The movement is fully stripped, with each component cleaned through a sequenced ultrasonic process using horological-grade solvents. Components are individually inspected at high magnification for wear, micro-fractures, and degraded surface treatments.
Worn parts are replaced from the manufacturer's parts network where available, with carefully matched alternatives considered where original parts are no longer produced. Reassembly is followed by relubrication using viscosity-appropriate oils and greases, regulation in multiple positions, and a multi-day timing observation.
- Full disassembly and component-level ultrasonic cleaning
- High-magnification inspection for wear and micro-fractures
- Parts from manufacturer network where accessible
- Multi-position regulation and multi-day timing observation

Service Pathway 02
Bracelet & Clasp Restoration
A focused service for steel, gold, and bi-metal bracelets where wear has accumulated through years of use — stretched links, worn clasp mechanisms, and surface marks across brushed and polished zones. The work begins with assessment of clasp tension, link articulation, and pin condition.
Stretched links may be tightened or replaced based on preference for originality versus tactile feel. Clasp springs and folding mechanisms are serviced or replaced as needed to restore secure closure. Refinishing follows the original geometry of the bracelet, with brushed surfaces grained with the correct directionality and polished surfaces treated with progressive abrasives to maintain crisp transitions.
- Clasp tension, link articulation, and pin condition assessment
- Directional grain restoration on brushed surfaces
- Progressive abrasive treatment on polished zones
- Pin and tube assembly renewal on reassembly
Timeline
1–3 weeks
Starting from
MYR 720
Service Pathway 03
Heritage Chronograph Service
A specialised pathway for vintage and modern manually-wound and automatic chronographs, where the additional complication adds significant complexity to the service. The work follows the same overall structure as a full overhaul but with extended attention to the chronograph mechanism: cam or column wheel inspection, hammer geometry, clutch engagement, and reset function are each evaluated and adjusted as required.
Vertical and lateral clutch designs are serviced according to their specific architecture. After reassembly, the chronograph is tested through extended operation cycles to verify smooth engagement, accurate reset, and stable rate behaviour with the chronograph running. Suited for owners of chronograph references requiring deeper service after years of regular use, or pieces inherited without service history.
- Column wheel and cam-lever inspection and adjustment
- Hammer geometry and clutch engagement evaluation
- Extended operation cycle testing post-reassembly
- Suitable for vintage pieces without service history
Timeline
6–10 weeks
Starting from
MYR 1,790

Standards Across All Services
What Every Service Includes
Secure Custody
Restricted workshop access and appropriate insurance cover for every piece throughout the service period.
Written Documentation
Intake condition report and photographic record on every service, regardless of scope or value.
Scope Agreement
Cost and timeline confirmed before work begins. Scope changes are discussed and approved before proceeding.
Horological-Grade Materials
Cleaning solvents, lubricants, and replacement parts sourced to horological specification — not general maintenance equivalents.
Specialist Assignment
Work is assigned to the technician whose background best matches the calibre and complication type — not divided by availability.
Data Handling
Client and watch information retained securely, used only for service purposes, and not shared with third parties.
